FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer therapy services?

We integrate brief therapy into medication review appointments, but this is not a substitute for formal individual therapy. We are not trained therapists. We specialize in medication management. We do have many connections with local therapists who we can recommend if this service is needed.

What insurances do you accept?

Medicaid (McLaren, Molina, BCBS, United Healthcare, Meridian), Medicare, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, PHP, Blue Care Network, Cofinity

Do you see children?

At this time, our practice is only seeing patients ages 14 and up. We are hoping to expand and offer additional services for pediatric patients as well. We will update here when that happens!

Are you accepting new patients?

YES! We are experiencing some credentialing delays with some insurances, but are still scheduling patients as soon as possible. Reach out and we will work with you to figure out the best plan.

Do you prescribe controlled medications (Ativan, Klonopin, Adderall, etc.)?

It depends. Controlled medications are not considered first line treatment for most conditions, so these would be looked at as last resort and often therapy would be recommended before looking into these options. If prescribed, these medications will likely be short term. This is a discussion we would have and we would make sure you felt comfortable with the plan as well.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

The short answer is, yes. We are a hybrid practice, but in most cases we will bring patients in for face-to-face appointments for their initial evaluation and at least once every 6 months. This will be determined on a case by case basis.
